How does it all work? ...
Donor - As a donor you can register
your details. This information will be stored with utmost confidentiality. Only if you wish, you will be listed under Our Donor List.
Whenever there is a matching request made for blood it will be communicated to you.
The request matching is done based on
the Blood Group and Location of the requester and donor.
How to register as an individual donor
Click on Donor Registration from the menu >> select Individual as your category >>
click on Register as a Donor button. This will take you to Donor Details page.
Enter all your details and click on Submit button. Now you will receive a Thank you page confirming your registration.
How to register as a Corporate body or Blood bank
Click on Donor Registration from the menu >> select Corporate body or Blood bank as your category >>
click on Register as a Donor button. This will take you to Donor Details page.
Enter all your details and click on Submit button. Now you will receive a Thank you page confirming your registration.
You can modify your Donor Details any time by logging in through Donor Registration page.
Is the information given kept confidential?
Yes, unless you wish otherwise. During registration you can decide whether you want to be listed under Our Donor List page or not. Choice is yours.
You have this option provided you give your E-mail contact.
How the donor will know when blood is required
Whenever there is a request for blood, all the registered donors from that location with matching blood group will receive an automatic mail giving request details
like date/time, number of units, hospital, contact details etc. Only such registered donors who have given their E-mail address will receive this mail.
In case of Corporate bodies and Blood banks, all the requests from their location will be sent.
Any visitor to this portal can view all the requests for blood by clicking on View SOS Requests.
Is registration on the site compulsory?
NO. You can volunteer to donate blood even if you are not a registered donor. You can simply go through View SOS Requests >> choose your location and blood group >> click on Show List. List of requests matching your selection will be shown.

>> On this page you can see all the request details and if you wish you can respond to donate.
All such responses for a particular request can be seen by the requester through Blood Request page.
Requester - You can register
your Request for blood. Your request will be immediately processed and communicated to matching donors. These donors will in turn get in touch with you.
You will be given a Request Number for future query/modification of your request.
Those who responded to your request on-line
will be listed under Blood Request in View Response.
By clicking on View
Response,
you can view the list of donors who have responded to your request through our pages.

No problem! Kindly go through
the list of SOS Requests. May be you
will find a request near your locality. You can respond
specifically to him/her and Save a Precious Life. You do not need to register with us to do this.
